Stephen's son, David, came for a visit. We picked him up at the SLC airport on Monday, June 18 and he stayed for a whole week. Stephen really enjoyed spending time with David. The first thing we did was stop by the Hill Air Force Base museum on the way home. I was very impressed with David's knowledge of the planes. Once in Rexburg, Stephen and David toured the Teton Dam museum, the Legacy museum (Bagley's airplanes), and spent a day in Yellowstone Park. We all toured the Ink & Blood display at the museum in IF (dead sea scrolls, etc) and toured the visitor center for the Rexburg Temple - such as it is. Dave and Crystal took David and Alec to the Craters of the Moon. We had a great visit with David.
Stephen's folks reported their mission this past Sunday. The whole family came except for Eric's family and Cheryl's family. For the most part, David was able to see and visit with a lot of the family. David flew home yesterday.
Those of us in Rexburg are celebrating grandpa's birthday this Thursday. We will BBQ hamburgers and just spend some time with grandpa.
Cameron is home right now on a 15 day leave. Once he returns to Virgina he will be on the ship and out to sea for the next 6 to 8 months.
Just a heads up . . . Terry is visiting Dr. Christenson today and will have a biopsy performed. The initial visit with Dr. Packer suggested that Terry would have to have a biopsy and a mammogram. The fear is that he has breast cancer. It's really early in the diagnosis and I'll try to keep you posted on his condition. He could just have a really bad infection in his lymph nodes under his arms and into the breast.
Love you all,
Mom
