"All Is Safely Gathered In"

Hi Roundtable discussants & moderator,

At last, the roundtable is formed. Here are the names of everyone that will be involved in the roundtable discussion at our BYU-Idaho family conference on March 21, 2009.

There are two sessions for our roundtable discussion and they are both back to back. We will be meeting in Smith 240 from 12:35-1:30 p.m., and from 1:35-2:30 p.m.

I appreciate your willingness to participate in this discussion. I will say that each name was selected very carefully. As a team, we represent parents of children from infants to adults.

I am excited about this roundtable discussion because it provides an opportunity to teach principles in the proclamation on the family and to teach what the general leaders of the church are emphasizing on the family. It also provides an opportunity for us, as parents, to share the lessons we have learned and insights about the family.

As you can see from the above letter (written to me) I have been asked to participate and be a panelist at the roundtable discussion. Apparently, my name was submitted by someone who thinks I have successfully raised four children. I was surprised yet honored. I'm excited to participate.
