House Update

As you all know we put an offer in on a house several months ago and it seems to keep having issues. So we have been looking around at other houses and found one! We were able to put 2 offers in at the same time and this new one is a bank owned so it should go fast if they accept it. We put the offer in Tuesday morning and.......... they accepted it today!! We are getting the inspection done tomorrow and if that goes well then we will get an official contract Friday or Monday at the latest and withdraw our other offer. Right now closing is set to be May 15th (which doesn't work for me if I am going to go to Idaho on May 16th!. They said it can go faster if we can get approved quicker so we could actually close at the end of the month if it all goes smoothly. The details: It's almost 2400 sq ft, 4 bedrooms plus a den, 2 baths, 2 car garage, and one story. The lot is over 9000 sq ft but I don't know exactly. There are tons of other details but I won't talk about them and bore you all.

Front of the house (not a very good picture):

Kitchen:

Dining Room:

Living Room: Not a very good picture. The living room is huge, it reminds me of G-ma and G-pa's family room and wide open to the kitchen which I love! I'm more likely to clean my kitchen and cook if I can watch tv while doing it (sad I know)!! The carpet is brand new and great! Nice and dark for the terrors!

Den: It's right off of the living room. I think we will either do a play room or more likely our office/scrapbooking room. I'll have to hang curtains or something so I can hide the mess.

Master and bath:

1 of the Bedrooms: All of the bedrooms will need to be repainted (at least one for sure)! Cause I don't think we are going to have a girl anytime in the near future with the way we're going! The other 2 are pink/purple and pink/blue with stars, SPECIAL!

Backyard: It needs a lot of work but I won't be hearing that Greg's bored anytime in the near future if we get this place!

Wish us luck that the inspection goes through and that the banks don't do something stupid to screw this up! I'm still very worried that something will go wrong and I'll be back at square one living in this crappy apartment complex!
