Improvement for Travis:

It appears that things are taking a turn for the better. When the surgeons got in to relieve the pressure on the brain, things looked better than they anticipated. There was a blood clot on the brain which they removed, but otherwise it was better than expected. The orthopedic surgeon re-examined the left knee and leg and it appears that only the ACL is injured. The tibia has a fracture in it, which they believe will heal without complications, so the left leg appears to be in better shape than originally thought. They originally feared that he was passing significant blood in his urine, this appears to be clearing up already. The final encouraging sign was that apparently Travis tried to cough out his tube and his eyes fluttered. The family feels very encouraged by this turn of events and Rebecca, despite being sleep deprived is in good spirits.
