Here is a new company that sells fresh meat directly to consumers. You have to buy by the case (which is 40 lbs) and the meat is fresh, never frozen. Once you get your order, then you can divide out the meat in portions that your family will use and freeze. Right now, their chicken is selling for $1.59 a lb.

They already did our area but I was too sick to want to do it. I've heard great things, just have to trim it a bit. Next go round we're hoping to do it. I guess I forgot to tell you about it!
